Made to measure, with room to wander.
From a village in Burgundy, we plan journeys for travelers who know the highlights and want what is underneath them. We start close to home, in France and the countries next door, with recommendations that come from living here, not a database.
Upcoming group trip
May 2027: My Life in Burgundy
This spring we open our first small-group trip. Six days and five nights in the villages, vineyards, and kitchens of southern Burgundy: Cluny, Tournus, Solutré, and the country around Mâcon. Romanesque abbeys, tastings with the growers, a hands-on cooking class, long lunches, and a table of no more than fourteen. Slow by design, and led by us.
Seats are by waitlist for now: no payment, no obligation, just first word when booking opens.
And the trip that is all your own?
Custom trips are coming back soon: the kind we build around you and no one else, at your pace, in your taste. Want first word when planning reopens? That happens right here…
the prep before the traveling
Once a month, a short dispatch from our corner of Burgundy: what is in season, where we would point you, a little history, the occasional strong opinion about wine. It is also where you will hear first when custom planning reopens.
Meet the whole team.
Tripologiste is Jonas and Paul. Paul was born in France and spent every childhood summer in Burgundy, so the region is family. Jonas came the long way around, trading Dallas for a village in southern Burgundy in 2024, and is still happily working on his French. Mostly, we are two people who believe the best trip is the one a local would actually take.
“Their planning made an ambitious, art-filled Europe trip not just doable, but joyful.”
“They lifted the planning load so I could actually enjoy the lead-up to vacation.”
